Oakland- On the eve of the hearing where a judge would decide whether the CQE v. California case would go forward, students, teachers, grassroots organizing groups, and supporters gathered at the State building in Oakland, California to rally support for the case.

Supporters called upon the State to provide every California student with a quality education.

Tara Kini, an attorney with Public Advocates representing the student and 

organization plaintiffs in the CQE case, rallied support for the case.
